Personal radio services. License free no license required unlicensed two-way voice and data services. Includes services with a simple license requirement like GMRS. The most well-known service, which is available and/or used almost worldwide is the 26 MHz - 27 MHz band CB radio service. Other common license free personal radio services used with handheld radios walkie-talkies, etc. include the FRS service in the United States, the PMR446 services in Europe and many other locations, the LPD433 service in Europe and many others.
